Three snap-downs on the front of the diaper* allow you to easily adjust the size of the diaper as your baby grows. For newborns, fold down the insert stopper for an extra-small rise.

Innovative Design

The soft, waterproof outer fabric keeps the diaper trim on your newborn and toddler. Soft, sueded inner fabric gently wicks moisture away from your baby's skin. Super stretchy, gentle leg and back elastic with rolled out casings keep messes in and helps to keep red marks away. The unique covered* slot opening keeps your baby protected from moisture.

How many bumGenius are needed?

As with all Pocket or All-in-One style diapers, when baby has a wet or messy diaper the entire unit must be changed--unlike when using a separate diaper and diaper cover where the outer cover can be re-used numerous times before laundering. The bumGenius Pocket diapers are in essence a 'single-use' diaper in between washings, so if using these diapers exclusively, an adequate amount would be about 18 to 24 diapers. If using only part-time, then a lesser quantity would be needed. If mixing various types of diapering methods, keep in mind that infants usually go through about twelve diaper changes per day, and toddlers about eight to ten.
