Shipping/Packing Charges

For UPS Ground Delivery:

UPS Ground Delivery is our preferred and usual method of shipping. At times we may choose to send part of a shipment via US Mail, so whenever possible please include both a street address and a mailing address (if different) when placing an order.

We usually ship orders within one business day of receipt of order. Most orders received early enough on a weekday will often ship the same day. Please allow approximately 3 to10 business days from shipment date for standard ground shipping, depending on delivery proximity to Washington state. We'll contact you in the case of any unusual delays. For manufacturer drop-shipped items, please allow one to three weeks for delivery, depending on the delivery location proximity  to the manufacturer warehouse.

For US Mail Delivery: PO Boxes, Alaska, Hawaii, AFO/FPO addresses, and all US Territories must ship via US Mail. Please select the US Mail option at Checkout to avoid delays or problems with processing your order. We usually ship mail via USPS Priority Air Mail. Due to the higher rates charged per pound increment by the US Postal Service, all Mail shipments will calculate at $3.00 over the corresponding UPS Ground shipping rate. Additional shipping charges may be required if cost of shipping and insurance exceed our averaged US Mail rate. If this occurs we will contact you for approval before processing your order. (Note: If you’d like to order a few small light items not requiring a padded envelope or packing box, please inquire and we may be able to modify your shipping rate).

For UPS & USPS Mail Delivery: Occasionally larger or heavier items may require extra shipping charges due to size, weight, or destination. With the exception of the additional US Mail charges noted above, we will contact you if other shipping fees are necessary, or it will be noted in the product copy of any applicable items.

For UPS 2-Day Air, 3-Day Select, & Next Day Air Delivery: Please call for a price quote. We charge the actual cost of shipping & insurance for these services. For a price quote, let us know which items you'd like to order and tell us your destination zip code. We can then let you know the cost and time frame of available 'rush' options. Most items are shipped from Washington state so if your package is being shipped within the western USA, shipping via UPS 2-Day or 3-Day may not be necessary. Please call us if you have any concerns about shipping time or other questions about rush shipments.

For Canadian and other Foreign Orders: Shipping charges are based on actual cost of Air Mail shipping and insurance, plus a $5 foreign handling fee ($3 for Canada). After we determine charges based on the weight of the items ordered, we will email the details for your approval before processing your order. Proceeding with placing an order indicates you accept responsibility for any fees that may be assessed by the destination country's Customs department upon delivery of goods.
